Thank you for your love and support of my 3-piece summer 2026 collection, The Gathering. I'll be donating 50% of profits from each piece sold to cancer research and go-fund-me efforts to support friends and family battling Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Bone Cancer, Appendix Cancer and Prostate Cancer. Details below
- Hand made toxic-free oil paints, hand mixed from walnut oil and natural pigments like indigo, safflower, beet, marigold, titanium and more
- On raw cotton dyed in natural indigo dye
- Stretched around locally hand-milled custom wooden stretcher bars
Painted live on the rooftop of Hotel Kansas City (where I'm an ongoing artist-in-residence) during their World Cup game day brunch events. Originally inspired by two global teams from very different cultures "meeting at the table" together in Kansas City both on and off the team, the collection's meaning evolved over the summer when I found out four more (a total of five) friends were hit with cancer diagnoses'.
This collection, The Gathering, is about lingering a little longer at the table with loved ones... a reminder that life is short, all we have is here and now...a nudge to stay at the table a little longer together and to slow down for the little moments that we'll later look back on as the big moments.
