Raw un-stretched canvas is a very modern way to hang very large pieces of work. You can use regular nails or install grommets to the four edges! It's also much more affordable to ship with no frame. If you select this piece in its current condition, it will ship rolled in a tube.
Locals : if you'd like to have this piece stretched on wooden stretcher bars and/or custom framing, please reach me for custom pricing.
Non-locals: I'd recommend having this piece framed or stretched (optional) locally in your city. Shipping will be much more costly since this such a large piece if it ships with a frame or on stretcher bars.
Back story:
Run is about counting time based on the position of the sun in the sky and letting the warmth of the sun heal me. Recovering from surgery this summer just about all I could do was it in my back yard. The sun kept me company as I memorized its cool shades of blue in the morning and warm shades of golden pink in the afternoon.
The sun taught me not to be afraid. Instead of running away from everything I was scared or worried about, I should run toward my life with open arms.
Very fitting, I was able to paint this piece (about the Sun) OUTSIDE in 6 degree January weather. What a dream!
